Education Station is a dynamic collaborative of Tea, the Midlothian Police Department and Fire Department that brings together the Midlothian community. Education Station is our 9th Annual Back to School Event that will take place on Saturday, August 4, 2018, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, at One Church located in Midlothian, Texas. It will be our highest profile community building celebration to date, with expected attendance of well over 250 people. This wonderful event is to encourage our children and youth to be joyous about the new school year and to provide them with the necessary tools to be prepared for academic success; Education Station will provide school supplies, backpacks, and hair cuts to children from Pre-Kindergarten to 5th grade.
Community based organizations ranging from: health, juvenile and social justice, to faith based after school programming, along with elected officials, school principals and teachers, will be in attendance at the event to promote critical services, civic participation and unity in the community of Midlothian. A lunch and local entertainment will be provided. Carnival style interactive activities such as: face painting, balloon toss, arts and crafts and sports will also take place.
Education Station is actively seeking corporate sponsors to support our significant Back to School Event. This event will provide sponsors multiple benefits, including opportunities to associate their brand name, services and/or products to hundreds of potential local customers. Sponsorships will also support the acquisition of backpacks, school supplies and other valuable items for students. As a sponsor, you will be supporting a positive and influential endeavor that directly impacts the quality of life of children, youth and their families in Midlothian.
