TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Mark 11:15–26
SERMON FOCUS: Authenticity, Spiritual Cleansing, Prayer, Forgiveness, True Transformation
Sermon Highlights:
Cosmetic Christianity is a faith that prioritizes outward religious appearance over inward spiritual transformation.
When we are more concerned about:
• Reputation over Reality
• Activity over Alignment
• Preferences over Presence
• Talk over Transformation
"Jesus did not come to groom our leaves; He came to inspect our fruit."
How do we REVERSE our Cosmetic Christianity?
• Practice Divine Cleansing (v.15–18) – Search me, O God, and know my heart (Psalm 139:23–24; Psalm 51:10–12).
• Prepare for Divine Chances (v.19–23) – Make the most of every opportunity (Ephesians 5:15–16; Colossians 4:5).
• Preserve Divine Intimacy (v.24–25) – Forgive others so that your Father may forgive you.
Reflection Question:
"If Jesus walked into the private room of your thought life, your internet history, and your secret habits this week, would He find the fruit of holiness, or just the leaves of a good public reputation?"
