TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Malachi 3:8–12
SERMON FOCUS: Tithing, Trust, Submission, Stewardship, God’s Partnership

Sermon Highlights:
• Submission Requires Trust – “Will a mere mortal rob God?” Tithing confronts our control and reveals who we truly trust.
• Submission Invites God’s Partnership – “Test Me in this,” says the Lord. God responds to obedience with open heavens and poured‑out blessing.
• Submission Prepares Us for More – Faithful in little leads to greater trust. Obedience positions us for protection and provision.

Why Israel struggled to bring the tithe:
• Economic frustration (post‑exile poverty)
• Neglect of the temple system (priests abandoned their posts)
• Self‑centered priorities (keeping the best for themselves)

Application: Move from selective obedience → complete surrender. Make giving a priority, not an afterthought.
