TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Mark 12:18–27
SERMON FOCUS: Resurrection, Divine Truth vs. Human Reasoning, The Power of God, Eternal Hope

Sermon Highlights:
• Recognizing the Traps – The Sadducees came with a question meant to discredit Jesus, but He saw through their agenda. The enemy still uses doubt to disqualify believers today.
• Wise Response – Jesus shifts the focus from earthly absurdities to heavenly realities: "When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven."
• Divine Wisdom – Jesus anchors our hope in the God of the living: "He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!"

Supporting Scriptures:
• Genesis 3:4 – The adversary is a deceiver and a liar.
• Exodus 4:10 – Moses doubted his calling.
• Judges 6:15 – Gideon doubted.
• Jeremiah 1:6 – Jeremiah doubted.
• Esther 4:11 – Esther hesitated.
• 1 Corinthians 15:9 – Paul acknowledged his past.

Key Groups in the Text:
• Priests, High Priest, Scribes, Herodians, Pharisees, Sadducees – Each had their own beliefs and agendas, but Jesus stood above them all.

Reflection:
Are you forcing heaven into flat thinking? Don't underestimate the God of the present tense—the God of the living!
