SERMON HIGHLIGHTS:

• The Transfiguration: Revealed Majesty (v.2–8) – Divine intention, conversation, change, guests, dumbness, and demand.
• Life After Worship – You have to come down, control your dialogue, and commit to discipleship.
• The Transfiguration Recognizes Misery (v.11–13) – The disciples question Elijah’s coming, and Jesus reveals the divine order: Elijah (John the Baptist) prepared the way, but the Son of Man must suffer and be rejected.

Three Divine Truths:

• Divine Fulfillment – Malachi’s prophecy of Elijah is fulfilled in John the Baptist.
• Divine Order – Preparation comes before manifestation; suffering precedes glory.
• Divine Appointment – Everything written about the Son of Man and about Elijah will come to pass.
